Shijiazhuang Qibo Technology Co., Ltd. is a manufacturing factory specializing in providing flame retardants and flame retardant masterbatch. At the same time, we also provide modified plastic additives, including glass fiber reinforcement, toughening materials, fillers, cold resistant materials, etc.

Modified plastics refer to plastic products that are processed and modified through filling, blending, strengthening, and other methods on the basis of general plastics and engineering plastics, improving their flame retardancy, strength, impact resistance, toughness, and other properties.

Introduction to Modified Plastics

Modified plastics are a plastic industry field that involves a wide range, high technological content, and can create huge economic benefits. And plastic modification technology - filling, blending, and reinforcement modification - is deeply involved in the raw materials and molding processes of almost all plastic products.

From the production of raw resin to the production of various specifications and varieties of modified plastic masterbatch, in order to reduce the cost of plastic products and improve their functionality, plastic modification technology is indispensable.
Ordinary plastics often have their own characteristics and defects, while modified plastics are used to change the properties of plastics. The basic techniques include:

1. Enhancement: Blend glass fiber and other materials with plastic to increase its mechanical strength.
2. Filling: Mixing minerals and other fillers with plastic to change its properties such as shrinkage, hardness, and strength.
3. Toughening: By adding toughening agents to ordinary plastics and blending them to improve their toughness, the product after toughening modification is: rail gasket.
4. Flame retardant: Adding flame retardants to ordinary plastic resins can give them flame retardant properties. Flame retardants can be a composite system of one or several flame retardants, such as bromine+antimony, phosphorus, nitrogen, silicon, and other inorganic flame retardant systems.
5. Cold resistance: increases the strength and toughness of plastics at low temperatures. Generally, plastics have inherent low-temperature brittleness at low temperatures, which limits their application in low-temperature environments. It is necessary to add some low-temperature toughening agents to change the brittleness of plastics at low temperatures, such as car bumpers and other plastic parts, which generally require cold resistance.

The main types of modified plastic products include flame retardant resins, reinforced and toughened resins, plastic alloys, functional colorants, etc.

Conclusion:
Modified plastics are materials that improve plastic properties or add specific functions by adding various modifiers. Common modifiers include fillers, plasticizers, stabilizers, enhancers, etc. They have a wide range of applications and can improve the strength, wear resistance, chemical corrosion resistance, processing performance, weather resistance, flame retardancy, etc. of plastics. Modified plastics have been widely used in various fields such as automobiles, electronics, and building materials to meet the requirements of different industries and specific needs.
